In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of scientific and didactic work of prof. Ewa Bojar the Faculty of Management, Lublin University of Technology, and the Management Board of the Scientific Association for Organization and Management invite participants and papers to be presented at the international conference Development of Organizations and Regions Challenges for Economics and Management Sciences.

The conference will be organized in Lublin, June 23 - 25, 2014, under the auspices of the Rector of the Lublin University of Technology.

The conference will address the most pressing issues and challenges connected with management of development processes in regions, as well as in business and public organizations. These challenges result from justifiable social expectations for fast and rational transformations of regions and organizations towards economic growth. Presently, the general view is that economics and management sciences are in a unique stage of development which is characterized by replacing the old paradigms with the new ones. Many even argue that the new economics and the new management are now emerging.

We believe that the conference will be a stimulus and a valuable source of inspiration for further research and creative theoretical considerations in the field of economics, management sciences and regional development.
